2012 ESTAS

If you’re a fan of Channel 4′s long running ‘Location, Location, Location’ and more recently ‘Secret Agent’, you’ll know property expert Phil Spencer recognises a good estate agent when he sees one.

Whiteheads Estate Agents with branches in Bognor Regis and Chichester won two awards at the 2012 ESTAS (Estate Agent and Letting Awards) hosted by the TV star.

Phil Spencer presented the local Estate Agents with both a National and a Regional award at the ESTAS’ luncheon held at the Hilton Park Lane hotel in london. Phil announced Whiteheads’ prestigious accolade in-front of 550 of the UK’s top estate agents and letting professionals.

Phil Spencer said “The ESTAS are the most important and valuable awards in our industry.  An ESTA is not an easy accolade to pick up, to win one requires a lot of hard work, over a very long period of time.”

Whiteheads won the Gold Award in the South East (South) Region for their excellent customer service as voted for by their househunters, vendors, landlords and tenants during the course of 2011.

On top of that Whiteheads’ excellent customer service went on to win them a Bronze National Award, against some formidable competition from estate agents who came from all over the UK.

The awards were based on feedback from customers who were asked about the service they have received from their estate agents. More than 33,000 votes were cast – making the ESTAS the biggest property industry consumer survey of its kind.

Despite selling and renting property since 1899, the estate agents have taken a refreshing approach that made them market leaders within 18 short months of opening their Bognor Regis office.  Their new Chichester branch looks set to do the same against some fierce competition.

What’s their secret?  They listened to everything people don’t like about traditional estate agents and made it better.
